NEW YEAR’S AND CHRISTMAS

Surely it would be nice if we could sigh: what a short year it has been and what a pity it is over.
Unfortunately, that is not the case with the last two pandemic years. Not that many of us did not have some good times during the year, but in the final sum, it does not add up to a godsend. If we wanted to use the tried-and-true school grading system to evaluate the past year, it would probably be a “fail,” but with no possibility of repeating a grade.
However, as history teaches us, difficult periods are always of limited duration and are usually followed by boom periods. That is why we believe that the sun will soon rise again, the world will blossom and all areas of life, including culture, will gain new impetus. So that at the end of 2022 we can sigh nostalgically at how short it has been and how unfortunate that it is already over…
Friends of cartooning from all over the world have not forgotten us even in the current situation and have sent us many greetings and wishes for the Christmas holidays and for the New Year 2022. We sincerely thank you all and invite you to share this pleasure with us.
