GOLDEN KEG 2011 – OPENING IN BRATISLAVA
…..On 29 March at 17.30 hrs. in the Bulgarian Cultural Centre on Jesensky street in Bratislava was the opening of the exhibition of the best works year of International Cartoon Competition GOLDEN KEG 2011. The exhibition organizers also pay tribute to the prematurely deceased Bulgarian cartoonist Rumen Dragostinov , who was winner of the 17th annual competition. The exhibition was opened by Mrs Ludmila Kotarova from the Bulgarian Cultural Centre, and Mr. Fedor Vico as an organizer. Opening was added background music by son of the famous composer Igor Bazlik.

GOLDEN KEG 2012 – OPENING IN PRESOV
…..As has become tradition, the date 1 April has been inextricably linked with humor and good mood. To this day is for many years conected the opening of the exhibition of the best works of the International Cartoon Competition on the theme of “Beer” “GOLDEN KEG”. Opening of the 18th edition of this internationally recognized competition took place on Sunday 1st April in Presov . To the competition this year sent their works 205 cartoonists from 37 countries the total number of 523 works. The jury, headed by chairman Miroslav Vico gave the following major awards:
Grand Prix : Boris ERENBURG (Israel)
1st Prize : Nikola HENDRICKX (Belgium)
2nd Prize : Zhao KUN (Chína)
3rd Prize : Fernando PICA (Columbia)
Authors were also awarded 6 special prizes and 13 honorable mentions.
