Emilio Isca

Emilio Isca was born in 1937 in Turin, Italy. Cartoonist, art director, publisher, writer. In the Fifties he began drawing for almost all the humor magazines, then created and directed IL GIOCONDO and OKAY. He created and had been directing for two years the humor and satire magazine HELP! (1976). He published, among other things PROFESSIONE UMORISTA with Gec, STRIP, HURRAH, POCHE IDEE MA CONFUSE, BLA,BLA,BLA with Giuliano, TILT, SE E’ VERO CHE ANCHE LE FORMICHE NEL LORO PICCOLO SI INCAZZANO, FIGURATEVI GLI ELEFANTI…TUTTA UN’ALTRA MUSICA and CAMICI BIANCHI. He writes comedy acts for the theatre and the cabaret. He is the art director of the exhibitions HUMORFESTIVAL, UMORISTI D.O.C. and SPORTHUMOR. Plenty of prestigious prizes, such as Publio Elvio Pertinace award in 2005 and Galantara award in 2010 and 2014. He has been the Italian President of FECO (Federation of European Cartoonist Association) for ten years. Emilio Isca is living and working in Turin, Italy.
